A Roadmap for Collaboration

Recognizing the urgency of supporting transformative solutions, a group of investors began gathering in 2020 to explore how we can better assess impact, measured in potential future emissions, of the climate technologies we invest in today.

In this position paper, we articulate how assessing potential emissions differs from assessing past emissions and offer a sketch of how stakeholders including investors, climate innovators, project developers, and impact experts can work in partnership to build shared approaches, tools, and more. 

We welcome your feedback as we build a platform by and for the stakeholders in this work. Stay tuned for further papers that define terms and concepts in forward looking impact approaches and detail how we can constructively collaborate to accelerate progress.
